Maruti Suzuki India has announced to recall 166 Dzire Tour S vehicles due to a suspected defect in the airbag control unit, the company said in a regulatory filing. The suspected defect has been found in vehicles manufactured between 6th August 2022 to 16th August 2022. The reason for this recall is that there are chances of crash-related injuries if the airbag system fails while driving. If you own one of these cars, it’s important that you check whether your vehicle has been affected by this incident and get yourself an updated replacement part as soon as possible
“If a defect is found, necessary rectification will be carried out free of cost.
If you have purchased a Maruti Suzuki and are experiencing any issues with your vehicle, then it is recommended that you contact the Maruti Suzuki customer care team. In case of unavailability of components, the company will keep the vehicle until its parts are available, Maruti Suzuki India said. Maruti Suzuki will pay for the vehicle during this time and arrange for a replacement vehicle. It will also pay for the cost of a replacement vehicle
The affected vehicles are Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the model year 2022.
